I think if I could learn to blog from my phone, the posts would look different but more frequent. And hell, we’re in the middle of a global pandemic, so let’s try it.
WordPress alerted me to the fact that sometime between my today and my last login was my 12-year anniversary of registering at wp .com. That doesn’t even feel that long, since I really started blogging in the fall of 1999. 😱 I’ve never really stopped blogging, at least in part, internally. I’ve just taken some long external breaks.
Like everyone else, we’re staying home (our day-to-day isn’t looking crazy different, but I miss kayaking and people-watching and running to the store for havarti just because I want some. Like many others, I’ve busted out my sewing machine and made a few not-awful masks out of scraps, though I may still order one from the many Instagram sellers that are showing up. Also like everyone else, I guess, I’m trying to get a little garden going (no thanks to Ace hardware who flat cancelled my order from a local store twice and I’ve now given up and ordered from Amazon, argh).
So that’s that in a nutshell. Hope to find my way here more often. If you’re feeling so inclined, I’d love if you’d say hi and maybe point me to where you’re sharing you these days.
